EXCHANGES

If you need to exchange an item, please return your purchased item by following the instructions below for a refund and purchase the new item that you wish to order. 

ONLINE RETURNS

We hope you love your online purchase but if you are not 100% happy you can return your purchase(s) within 14 days of delivery for a full refund.

If you do not have access to a printer, please simply write your name, order number, name of item and reason for returning onto a piece of paper and send it back to us with your return.

All online returns, both domestic and international, are at the client's expense which includes import tax and duties, unless otherwise agreed. Please ensure goods are returned tracked and signed for, as we cannot be held responsible for goods that do not arrive. 

Our 14 days to return, starts from the date on tracking that the order is delivered, whether this is to you, or a neighbour etc. For Click and Collect items, the 14 days will run from the day after the order is placed (allowing 24 hours for you to pick up the piece from the shop).

Returns can only be accepted if unworn, unmarked, with no odours / makeup. Please be careful when trying on, we recommend a scarf over the face. Items must be complete with all labels attached. Sansom Reed reserves the right to refuse a refund or exchange on items deemed not to be resalable. This does not affect your statutory rights in connection with faulty items.

Pierced jewellery cannot be returned for hygiene reasons, unless faulty. Gift Cards and eGift Cards are also non-returnable.

In the case of returning an item from outside the UK, you will need to include a detailed invoice clearly stating that the item/s are "returning to the country of origin" and therefore not subject to import tax and duties. This should be marked on the airway bill as well. We cannot be held liable for any charges incurred due to incorrect shipping and any costs that we incur will be deducted from the amount due for a refund.

Any credit notes are valid for 6 months from the date of issue. If a credit note is used to purchase an item which is subsequently returned, this does not affect the original valid from date (ie the period is not extended).

 


STORE OR EVENT RETURNS

Our company policy states that full priced items can be exchanged or credit note issued, if returned within 7 days of purchase to the store/event. WE NO LONGER ISSUE MONEY / CARD REFUNDS.

Returned items should be unused, and in their original condition (including all labels and tags intact). PROOF OF PURCHASE must be brought with you (we will have provided the receipt at time of purchase).

REDUCED ITEMS are sold as seen and are NON-RETURNABLE for neither exchange or credit.

Sansom Reed reserves the right to refuse a refund or exchange on items deemed not to be resalable. This does not affect your statutory rights in connection with faulty items.

It is not possible to use our online returns service for purchases made in our shop or at an event. All physical exchanges must be made to the shop.

Full price items bought at pop-up events can be exchanged at that event, or at our Marlow shop, within 7 days. 

MULTIPLE SIZE PURCHASES OF ONE STYLE

Please note that we offer a full and comprehensive sizing guidance service through the shop phone (07846 675376). We do not always add a sizing guide to each product page on the website as over years' experience we know that styles/brands/opinions of size vary. If you do not feel confident size selecting from the item's online description/our social media content, please contact the shop and we will respond as soon as we can. We often try pieces on for customers and we rarely get a size wrong via this method. 

WE STRONGLY PREFER NOT TO INCUR THE COSTS OF MULTIPLE SIZE ORDERING.

For those customers who purchase more than one size of an exact same product and colour, there shall be a £5 admin fee applied to and deducted from any return of the product. This amount has been calculated over very careful consideration and takes account of the costs incurred to Sansom Reed.

We are excited to share the huge mark downs on pieces within our Sale with you. However, please note that due to website transactional charges, for any Sale pieces that are returned, there will be a £5 administration fee deducted from any refund amount.

20% FLASH SALE ON KNITWEAR AND SWEATSHIRTS

We are excited to share discount on Knitwear and Sweatshirts with you, which shall run from from 31 January 2025 to 2 February 2025. However, please note that due to website transactional charges, for any items that are returned that have benefited from this discount, there will be a £5 administration fee deducted from any refund amount.

25% SEASONAL DISCOUNT ON CLOTHING

We are excited to share this seasonal reduction on clothing with you, which shall run from from 26 December 2024 to 7am on 2 January 2025. However, please note that due to website transactional charges, for any items that are returned that have benefited from this discount, there will be a £5 administration fee deducted from any refund amount.

ADVENT 'GIFT OF THE DAY'

Please note that the Advent 'Gift of the Day' is enclosed free with every online order (subject to stock availability) made from 1 to 24 December 2024. One gift per customer per day may be sent. If you receive your online order and gift and decide to return the items ordered, but wish to keep the gift, the cost of the gift will be deducted from your refund. For example, if you order a gilet costing £65 and the gift RRP is £6; should you return the gilet and keep the gift your refund would be £59. RRPs for each gift can be found on our website.
